The goal of West End Wednesday is to drive traffic to Historic West End businesses during the week, showcase the amazing businesses in the area, and show that we can have a safe, fun time in Historic West End.
The Problem
Tourism data from Pacer.ai showed that 37% of visits to the Historic West End involved someone coming from their home and 42% ended witha. trip home; however, 30% of visits follow or are followed by dining, leisure, or shopping outside of the district.
Businesses in the corridor are not capitalizing on the traffic, and ultimately missing out on revenue.
The Solution
West End Wednesday is designed to provide exposure to the businesses in the Historic West End Corridor, and encourage visitors to the area to patronize the businesses in the corridor.
Additionally, the monthly events are designed to shed the stigma of the area as unsafe.
Workshop Dates
On the fourth Wednesday of each month, join us for a FREE two-part community event powered by Chase Bank for Business in partnership with Historic West End Partners. Each month there will be an in-person business workshop from 6pm - 7pm followed by a free admission social event.
Tickets are free but space is limited so RSVP to guarantee your slot!
